HISTORIA DE LA LOGIA ILÓGICA DE LOS TRES CHIFLADOS
La Logia Ilógica de los Tres Chiflados (club de fans argentino del trío), es una agrupación que existe desde el 29 de noviembre de 1997, cuando Luis Rial (el presidente) decidió convocar mediante anuncios y folletos en distintas comiquerías y librerías especializadas a los fanáticos seguidores de los Chiflados como él.
La respuesta fue inmediata, y ya en mayo de 1998 la Logia fue invitada a la 24º Feria del Libro, donde se proyectó un video documental muy poco visto.
En agosto, Luis viajó a EE.UU. a la 1era. Convención Chiflada organizada en Los Angeles los días 21, 22 y 23, gracias a su esposa María Elena que envió una carta a Sorpresa y 1/2, pudiendo cumplir un sueño que todo admirador del fenomenal trío quisiera realizar, también gracias a la luz verde que le dio la producción del programa de Julián Weich. Luis se encontró con los familiares de los "seis" Chiflados: Geri Howard-Greenbaum, Jill y Sandie Howard, nuera y nietas de Shemp, respectivamente; los nietos de Larry; Janie Howard-Hanky, hija de Curly; la sobrina de Joe Besser; Jean DeRita, viuda de Curly-Joe y Joan Howard-Maurer, hija del recordado Moe, con quien Luis ya se había carteado previamente y se dio el gusto de conocer. Asimismo pudo hablar con varias actrices, productores y directores que trabajaron con ellos en los cortos y en los largometrajes. También hizo un tour por los estudios de filmación más importantes, por los cementerios donde se encuentran las tumbas de los "Stooges" y por las casas que ellos habitaron.
Ya en septiembre de ese año, los días 11, 12 y 13 se hizo el Primer Congreso Mundial de la Comunicación, y la Logia participó de la mesa "Medios de Comunicación y Series de Culto", junto a Starbase Tango (club de fans de Star Trek) y The X-Files Fan Club Argentina (club de fans de los Expedientes X).
El 12 y 13 de diciembre fue invitada a la Expotrekker, 6º Convención de Star Trek en Argentina, organizada por su club de fans Starbase Tango en el Teatro IFT (Boulogne Sur Mer 549, Capital Federal).
El 23 del mismo mes se emitió un reportaje que hizo el programa Tiempo Libre, de Multicanal a su servicio.
El 2 de mayo de 1999, la agrupación salió publicada en VIVA, revista dominical del diario Clarín, dentro de una nota que habla sobre el fenómeno de los clubes de fans, con foto incluida.
El 4 y 5 de septiembre la Logia intervino en la primera Feria de Clubes de Fans organizada por la Dirección General de la Juventud del Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, y realizada en el Centro Cultural General San Martín. Ahí hubo stands, proyecciones, exposiciones, charlas, talleres y desfiles, emitiéndose un cortometraje perdido de los Tres Chiflados de 1941.
En el mismo mes salió al aire un bloque de Much Music hablando sobre el grupo y promoviendo la Feria.
En febrero de 2000 fue entrevistada por la revista Plan-TV, publicación mensual sobre la televisión de los '60, '70 y '80. La nota salió publicada en el número especial de marzo dedicado a los Tres Chiflados.
En marzo la reportearon para el programa "De Acá", de la nueva programación de Canal 7 Argentina. Fue emitido el 10 de mayo a las 21.00 hs., y se habló de la admiración por los queridos cómicos.
El 23 de mayo se emitió un reportaje biográfico con testimonios de la Logia por América Noticias Mediodía, repitiéndose en América Noticias 19 Hs. y todo el día en CVN.
El 2 de diciembre participó de Fanatix 2000, convención de aficionados a la ciencia ficción, manga, animé y series de TV. La Logia emitió dos cortometrajes perdidos y dio una charla sobre el trío. Este evento fue organizado por la Dirección General de Promoción Cultural y el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, entre otros.
Actualmente la Logia cuenta con alrededor de 60 socios inscriptos.
FANZINE
Se han editado 12 fanzines trimestrales (el "Star Press") en el que fueron volcadas las biografías chifladas, notas sobre actores secundarios y directores, la filmografía, historietas, caricaturas, noticias, fotos raras y curiosidades, entre otras cosas. Los miembros fueron alentados a remitir material (por ejemplo artículos, reseñas, recortes de diario, críticas sobre algún libro, película, etc.) para su posible uso en la publicación.

HISTORY OF THE ILLOGICAL LODGE OF THE THREE STOOGES
The Illogical Lodge of the Three Stooges (Argentinian fan club of the trio), is a group that has existed since November 29, 1997, when Luis Rial (the president) decided to summon through advertisements and brochures in different comics and specialized bookstores to fans of the Stooges like him.
The response was immediate, and in May 1998 the Lodge was invited to the 24th Book Fair, where a very rarely seen documentary video was shown.
In August, Luis traveled to the US for the 1st. Stooge Convention organized in Los Angeles on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd, thanks to his wife María Elena who sent a letter to Surprise and 1/2, being able to fulfill a dream that every admirer of the phenomenal trio would like to realize, also thanks to the green light that gave him the production of the Julián Weich program. Luis met the relatives of the "six" Stooges: Geri Howard-Greenbaum, Jill and Sandie Howard, Shemp's daughter-in-law and granddaughters, respectively; Larry's grandchildren; Janie Howard-Hanky, Curly's daughter; Joe Besser's niece; Jean DeRita, widow of Curly-Joe and Joan Howard-Maurer, daughter of the remembered Moe, with whom Luis had previously exchanged letters and was pleased to meet. He was also able to speak to various actresses, producers and directors who worked with them on the shorts and feature films. He also toured the most important film studios, the cemeteries where the Stooges' graves are located and the houses they inhabited.
In September of that year, on the 11th, 12th and 13th the First World Communication Congress was held, and the Lodge participated in the "Media and Cult Series" table, together with Starbase Tango (fan club of Star Trek) and The X-Files Fan Club Argentina (X-Files fan club).
On December 12 and 13, it was invited to the Expotrekker, 6th Star Trek Convention in Argentina, organized by their Starbase Tango fan club at the IFT Theater (549 Boulogne Sur Mer, Capital Federal).
On the 23rd of the same month, an interview was broadcasted by the Free Time program from Multicanal at your service.
On May 2, 1999, the group was published in VIVA, Sunday magazine of Clarín newspaper, in an article that talks about the phenomenon of fan clubs, with photo included.
On September 4 and 5 the Lodge intervened in the first Fan Club Fair organized by the General Directorate of Youth of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, and held at the General San Martín Cultural Center. There were stands, projections, exhibitions, talks, workshops and parades, broadcasting a lost short film of the Three Stooges from 1941.
In the same month, a Much Music block aired talking about the group and promoting the Fair.
In February 2000, it was interviewed by Plan-TV magazine, a monthly publication on television from the 60's,' 70's and 80's. The article was published in the March special issue dedicated to the Three Stooges.
In March it was interviewed for "De Acá" program, of the new programming of Channel 7 Argentina. It was broadcasted on May 10 at 9:00 p.m., and there was talk of admiration for the beloved comedians.
On May 23, a biographical coverage was issued with testimonies from the Lodge for America News Noon, being repeated in America News 7 PM and all day on CVN.
On December 2, it participated in Fanatix 2000, a convention for fans of science fiction, manga, anime and TV series. The Lodge released two lost short films and had a talk about the trio. This event was organized by the General Directorate for Cultural Promotion and the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, among others.
The Lodge currently has around 60 registered members.
FANZINE
Twelve quarterly fanzines (the "Star Press") have been edited in which the Stooge biographies, articles on supporting actors and directors, filmography, comics, caricatures, news, rare photos and curiosities, among other things, were dumped. Members were encouraged to submit material (eg articles, reviews, newspaper clippings, reviews of a book, movie, etc.) for possible use in the publication.
